Find Your Perfect Fit

Size & Fit Guide

Beautifully Considered. Made to Be Worn Your Way.

At LIMA, we believe a beautiful silhouette begins with the right fit.

Our collections combine the elegance of traditional Pakistani fashion with contemporary proportions and tailoring. As the cut and construction of each design may vary, we recommend reviewing the individual product description alongside our size guide before choosing your size.

Measurements within our size guide refer to body measurements unless otherwise stated.

The right fit is the quiet confidence behind every LIMA piece.

How to Measure

For the most accurate result, use a soft measuring tape over lightweight clothing or undergarments. Keep the tape comfortably against the body without pulling it too tightly.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape level across your back.

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Keep the tape comfortably relaxed.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Shoulder

Measure across the back from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other.

Arm Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder down the outside of your arm to your wrist.

Kameez / Top Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to where you would like the garment to finish.

Trouser Length

Measure from your natural waist down to your preferred trouser length.

Choosing Your Size

Compare your body measurements with the LIMA Size Chart and select the size that most closely corresponds with your measurements.

Between Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend selecting the larger size for a more comfortable fit, particularly for structured or straight-cut styles.

Relaxed Silhouettes

For relaxed, flowing or oversized silhouettes, you may prefer your usual size.

Always refer to the individual product page, as specific fit guidance will be provided where a garment is intentionally fitted, relaxed, oversized or structured.

Pakistani Silhouettes

Pakistani fashion incorporates a beautiful variety of cuts and proportions, so the fit may differ from one LIMA piece to another.

A straight-cut kameez may sit closer to the body, while an Anarkali or flowing silhouette will naturally provide greater movement. Sharara, palazzo trousers and traditional straight trousers will also have different proportions.

This variation is intentional and forms part of the character of each design.

Embroidered & Embellished Garments

Some LIMA pieces feature intricate embroidery, embellishment, beadwork or decorative finishes.

These details can occasionally reduce the natural stretch or flexibility of a fabric. If you are between sizes, we recommend considering the garment's construction carefully and selecting the larger size where additional ease may be required.

Never force an embellished garment when dressing, as excessive tension may damage delicate embroidery or beadwork.

Three-Piece Sets

Where a LIMA design is sold as a coordinated three-piece ensemble, the size selected will generally apply to the complete set unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Please check the product description for details of exactly what is included with your chosen design.

Garment Length

Garment lengths can appear different depending on your height and body proportions.

Where available, individual product pages may provide additional garment measurements or model information to help you understand how a particular silhouette is intended to fall.

Made-to-Measure

For something more personal, selected LIMA designs may be available through our private bespoke and made-to-measure service.

This allows a garment to be created or adjusted around your individual measurements and requirements, subject to the options available for the particular design.

Our Customer Care team can provide further information about the made-to-measure process.

Before You Order

We recommend taking fresh measurements before purchasing rather than relying solely on the size you usually wear from another brand.

Sizing can vary considerably between fashion houses, particularly between UK, European and South Asian sizing systems.

For the best LIMA fit:

  • Measure carefully.
  • Check the individual design.
  • Consider the intended silhouette.
  • Then choose the size that feels right for you.
