✦ LIMA QUALITY CHECKED ✓
The LIMA Quality Standard
Every LIMA garment passes five checks before it reaches you. This is our promise, written down.
Fabric inspection
- Every length is unrolled and checked over a light table for weaving faults, pulls and shading.
- Colour is matched across the shirt, dupatta and trouser before cutting.
- Fabric is pre-shrunk where the cloth needs it.
Stitching
- Fine, even stitches with no skipped or loose threads.
- Seams are finished inside so they don't fray or scratch.
- Stress points — underarms, side slits, waistbands — are reinforced.
Embroidery
- Motifs are checked for symmetry and matched across seams.
- No loose threads, missing sequins or lifted beads.
- Backing is neat and soft against the skin.
Finishing
- Hems are level and even all round.
- Buttons, hooks and tassels are hand-secured.
- Each piece is pressed and steamed before packing.
Final quality control
- A second pair of hands checks the finished garment against its order — size, colour and every detail.
- Measurements are checked against the LIMA size chart.
- Only then is it wrapped in tissue and marked LIMA Quality Checked ✓.
