A Letter from the Editors

Dear Reader

We built this issue the way we build a collection: slowly, by hand, around a single feeling. This season that feeling is romance made bolder — richer fabric, deeper colour, proportions with a little more nerve than usual.

Every page here was chosen, not filled. The trends we cover are the ones we actually see on the women around us, in fitting rooms and at weddings, not simply the ones that photograph well. We hope you find something worth keeping in these pages, whether that is a colour, a silhouette, or a single line that changes how you get dressed tomorrow.

Thank you for reading the first issue of The Lima Edit. We are already at work on the next one.

The Editors, LIMA

Cover Story

The New Romantics

Rich texture. Deeper colour. Dramatic proportion.

“this season, choose fewer but richer pieces. One beautiful velvet or embroidered piece, worn with confidence, is the essence of The New Romantics.”
